Artist Jakub Špaňhel (1976) graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague. During his studies, he specialized in painting and graphics. After completing his studies, he established himself as an important artist on the Czech art scene. He is known for his abstract and expressive paintings that combine different media and techniques. His work is often characterized by its emotional and expressive expression. He uses a wide palette of colors and playful compositions that express his subjective view of the world. His paintings often combine abstract forms and gestural brush strokes, creating dynamic and energetic images. The Spaniard is also interested in experimenting with different materials and techniques. In his works, he uses acrylic paints, oils, sprays, pencils and collages. This creates layered and textured surfaces that add depth and tangibility to his paintings.
