Michaela Černický and Jiří Černický are a couple, they have two children together. Although their work differs in many ways, they have exhibited together several times in recent years. Despite their mutual differences, their long-term coexistence creates a special artistic resonance. The exhibition at Trafo Gallery will present two seemingly unrelated sets of works, but they share some common elements: Forms that do not amaze with their flamboyance, but with their hidden depth, ambiguous subjects that can only be appreciated from a distance, and their shared ability to transform ordinary reality into scenes of extraordinary impact. The curator of the exhibition is Tomáš Pospiszyl.
